Isn’t it funny when you assume that someone’s talents and interests are somehow limited to their job description?
Only recently I learned that a longtime family friend, a firefighter/paramedic, is also the musical director at his church and has recorded several CDs.
On that note (pun intended), I’d like to introduce readers to Rob McCoy and his website, Rob McCoy on Fire. http://www.robmccoyonfire.com/
Rob not only wants to save lives, but help save souls. He is passionate about what he does and has an amazing, supportive wife and family who encourage his musical stylings.
Rob currently has two videos on YouTube:
My Hero, a tribute to the four Lakewood, Washington police officers who were murdered on November 29th, 2009
Can You Hear Me? http://www.robmccoyonfire.com/robmccoyonfire/YouTube.html
His Facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Rob-McCoy-On-Fire/386161885556.
Also, during his mission work with Disaster Response Northwest, he developed a real love for the Haitian people. He is putting together a program to help some of the people he met in Haiti, including those who live and work at an orphanage. I’ll have details on that later.
Go Rob!
