Tomorrow, December 4th, is the Apple Cup. As a Cyber Coug, WSU Class of 2009, I would like all of my friends, coworkers, and family members who are Huskies to keep something in mind as they’re psyching themselves up for the big game.
You may be obsessed with saying the names of your coach and quarterback because they sound cool and the latter has a very athletic feel to it. You may be trumpeting the odds and rehashing the UW victories of yesteryear. Purple and gold, yadda yadda, yeah, yeah.
But WSU has a very important person rooting for their side during the holiday season. I took this photo myself at last year’s Cougar Hardwood Classic in Seattle, so GAZE UPON IT AND WEEP, Husky fans… here is irrefutable proof…
