Sandra L. Brown has been a favorite author of mine for years. But I didn’t know until today what motivates her ongoing fight for justice and crusade against psychopaths.
Activists are motivated by many things. Compassion. Empathy. Righteous anger. Love for others. A passion for what is healthy and legal. Being absolutely fed up with being screamed at, beat up, put down, dragged around, taken advantage of, or lied about.
For some there are specific trigger incidents– their own or a loved one’s rape, molestation, abuse, or another life-changing, innocence-stealing vulgarity.
In Sandra’s case, it was her father’s murder.
