The National Archives and Records Administration building in Seattle is slated for closure, which could send countless invaluable records, including tribal records, out of state and far away.

Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman has an extensive page of news links and resources that include how to contact government officials. Wyman is also floating the idea of locating the NARA records next to the new Washington State Archives building in Olympia when it is built. Please feel free to contact her to express your support.

This is an important nonpartisan issue that needs the support of millions of Washingtonians. Please makes your voices heard.
