Powell Suicide

KCPQ is reporting that Michael Powell, brother of Josh Powell, has committed suicide: http://q13fox.com/2013/02/12/josh-powells-brother-michael-dies-in-apparent-suicide/#axzz2KkdcxTsC.

For those unfamiliar with the case, Josh Powell brutally murdered his two sons while trapping them in a burning house and was strongly suspected of murdering his wife Susan: https://wildninja.wordpress.com/2012/02/06/3084/.

I know very little about Michael Powell other than him being supportive of his brother and father. He was involved in a dispute with Susan’s parents for $1.5 million in life insurance money at the time of his death. His father seemed obsessed with Susan and many suspect him of being involved in her murder (her body has not been found). He is incarcerated and won’t talk.

The whole Powell family should not be condemned in light of this and not all of them shared Michael Powell’s opinions. They’ve tragically lost another family member and thoughts go out to them tonight.

What a terrible day in the news. Another police officer has been murdered in the hunt for ex-LAPD cop Chris Dorner, a man in Guam was arrested for vehicular assault and a stabbing spree that left three people dead and many more injured (http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/police-arrest-suspect-in-mass-stabbing-that-left-3-dead-11-injured-at-guam-resort/2013/02/12/16daae14-7575-11e2-9889-60bfcbb02149_story.html), North Korea is suspected of helping Iran test nuclear bombs (http://flashtrafficblog.wordpress.com/2013/02/12/very-possible-that-the-north-koreans-are-testing-nuclear-bombs-for-iran-says-u-s-official/), Obama’s trip to Israel in March is designed to convince them to divide Jerusalem and back off from defending themselves from entities bent on genocide, and politically things are messy and contentious after SOTU tonight. We are a race in need of divine intervention.
